Cask conditioned - gravity dispense- Victoria, Rugby. A copper coloured beer with a whitish head and lacing. The aroma is malty and dry. The taste has some nuttiness around a early malt and late bitterness. OK but pretty dull really.

Cask, Turf Tavern, Oxford. Bright gold, fine white head. The smell of fresh yellow roses with that slight lemon touch. Lemon menthol bitterness, a touch of roasted corn. The corn thing I usually note as a component of dullness, but in this case it adds some nice texture. Fresh, summery, unique.

Cask@The Wenlock. Had this written down as "Mervs Magic", no doubt Mes had something to do with that, haha. Anyway this was pretty dull, no, wait, very dull, to add to the dull grainy malt flavours, there was green apple and buttery diacetyl.

Cask-conditioned at the Crosshands, Fishponds, Bristol 28/10/07. Pale amber with a moderate white head that left rings down the glass. Touch of sweet malt aroma with some grassy hops. Flavour of biscuit malt before a hoppy finish. Unlike other raters, my beer was served in good condition.

Cask in Blackfriers. Aroma is richer malts than expected, quite sweet with peppery and grasys hops. Taste gives honey and caramel, slightly pluckering mouthfeel, grassy and floural finish.
