Cask gravity @ Reading Beer Festival 2008.
Clear medium red brown color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, chocolate, fruity, wheat ? Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily and very smooth, carbonation is flat. (020508)

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 7/5/08. Deep brown with a decent tan head. Plenty of slightly roasted malt and red fruit in the aroma. More of the same in the flavour, with a touch of chocolate malt and some earthy hops in the finish. Enjoyable.

A Mes rate: Gravicask. Very fruity and malty with plenty of smokey character. Slight hops for the finish to balance it out. Not particularly full of character but an enjoyable mild if you ask me.

Cask, Newark Fest 07. Chestnut brown with a small head. Aromas are light earthy roast malts with some oatiness. Flavours are chocolate and weetabix malts with hints of citrus. Prickly hops on the finish. Some berry fruit. Decent.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Dark brown with a small off-white head. Rich, treacly malt aroma. Taste is sweet malt with some fruity sourness. Leaves a long caramel taste in the mouth. Liked this at first, but the appeal faded. Not sure why.
