Draught. Pitch black colour. Nice roasty maltiness in aroma with chocolate and alcohol. Good mouthfeel. Roasty maltiness in flavour, sweet with dark fruits, chocolate, some coffee and bitter hops. Roasty dark fruity sweet finish.

Draught at Ørsted Ølbar. Black coloured with a small beige head. Sweet aroma of fruits and dried fruits with notes of caramel and roasted notes. Fruity flavour of dried fruits, hops, caramel and liquorice with roasted notes. Hoppy finish.

Draft. An almost opaque black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, alcohol, sweet malt, and a bit of soy sauce. THe flavor is sweet with strong notes of alcohol, wood, and roasted malt, as well as notes of soy sauce and dark chocolate, leading to a dry finish where notes of alcohol and wood lingers.

@ LCRBM 2009. A black colored beer, with a beige head. The aroma of sweet vanilla, with bitter and some chocolate. The taste is sweet bitter with choco malts and some yeast. The aftertaste is sweet bitter with chocolate.

Black colored beer. Lots of burned malts in the nose and taste. Overall not a bad beer.

This beer is smokey in aroma, flavor and palate. Didn’t resemble a really balanced beer imho, since the smokey part was far too overwhelming.

(Draught at Pikkulintu, Helsinki, on 2009-09-05) Black. Small tan coloured head. Liquorice and roastedness in aroma. Full bodied and oily palate with medium carbonation. Malts, sweetness, roastedness, liquorice, coffee, fruitiness, chocolate and bitterness in taste. Roasty and bitter aftertaste.

66 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a fully gone head. Aroma is hardroasted, light metallic and chemical. Smooth roasted, chocolate and breadish flavoured. Light acidic note from the hardroasted flavoured finish. Light bitterness too.
