16.9 oz bottle - pours very dark brown with a nice offwhite head that stays around pretty well and laces down the sides of the english pint. Aroma is chocolate, a touch of caramel, and a bit of molasses. Flavor is much chocolate, some roasted malts, and a bit of molasses. Smooth on the palate and easy to drink. Medium bodied. My first mild ale and I can say that I liked it. Simple and straightforward.

Bottle. A metallic malt and hops aroma. Dark opaque brown with large dissapating head. Slightly sweet molasses malt flavor - smooth with light hops finish - Thankfully there is no metallic taste. Nice tasting but aroma is a bit off. It’s always nice when you find a style you’ve been looking for by accident.

Poured dark brown with a semi-fluffy light tan head. Roasted chocolate aroma. Flavor is predominantly watered-down bitter roasted coffee, like the kind you get from a convenience store that’s been sitting around cooking all day. Dry bitter finish. Actually fairly pleasant for what it is.

Pours a light black color with a white head. Aroma has chocolate and coffee in it. Initial flavor is smokey and bitter, however neither flavor is very strong. also the finish is fizzy and short.
