BMan1113VR. Pours a nice looking dark amber/brown with red hues and off-white head. Aroma is somewhat toasty malt with faint dark roast. Flavor is just a watery taste of wet grain and stale coffee. Mouth feel is very watery with low-medium carbonation. Overall, not bad but has a watery mouthfeel. ericandersnavy (1141), crossroads, Texas, USA

Well here goes.
Good looks, dark ,dark brown, lovelly full creammy tan head.
Ah great the aroma is OK..cocoa powder and figs, rum and raisin.
Ah nice taste too all of the above with a nice semi-=bitter finish.
Ok on the palate, thin finish to be expected from this style.
Drinkable Mild..oh I would love to taste this fresh at the source. If its this good after such treatment as I saw today it must be near a "5" beer fresh.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 9, 2009 Black color. Very smooth palate, which seems to be a characteristic of the milds i have had. Good malt flavor, not it it nos very intense, and what is there lightly roasted with some wood. I found this very drinkable and with enough flavor to keep me interested.
