Famous dark mild. Black colour, like the cat. Chocolate and Christmas cake flavours. Soft but tasty palate. Excellent.

Aroma is of soft malts. Flavor is mostly of burnt malt, biscuit, a small bit of chocolate, and maybe tea. Flavorful enough and easy drinking.

The aroma is slightly roasted. The color is deep red and it has light brown head. The flavor is lovely roasted, with a slightly sour background combined with notes of chocolate and roasted malt.

Dark beer, no head visible. Sweet malty nose. Thin body due to the low alcohol content. Malt flavor gives way to esters, then the beer finishes very thin.

Dark brown color, transparent, with a small beige head. The aroma had roasted and chocolate tones. The flavor was mildly sweet with roasted coffee beans and bitter chocolate. Light feel...soft.

Black pour with small head. Aroma of cocoa and roasted malt. This stuff did have a somewhat metalic taste and very light finish.

This brew pours with a dark brown to black body topped by a thick, light brown head with a goos amount of lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet yet mostly roasty and bitter with a nice malty note and a touch of coffee. The flavor is kind of wierd. It's slightly sour, bitter adn roasty with a touch of sweet maltiness. It doesn't sound that bad, but somehow these flavors don't mesh right in this beer. Full Bodied and slightly smooth.
