| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Apr 3, 2004 This brew pours with a dark brown to black body topped by a thick, light brown head with a goos amount of lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet yet mostly roasty and bitter with a nice malty note and a touch of coffee. The flavor is kind of wierd. It's slightly sour, bitter adn roasty with a touch of sweet maltiness. It doesn't sound that bad, but somehow these flavors don't mesh right in this beer. Full Bodied and slightly smooth.
