Nice mild flavor, fairly light on the hops and quite malty. Hints of licorice and a nice caramel aspect. Not too sweet, and extremely drinkable.

A really great beer, probably one of my favorites. Pours an opaque amber color, with a think head, and a slight malty aroma. Flavor is a little thin, but what is there is a complex malt/fruity flavor. Very smooth, easily drinkable. Hoppy finish was a little hard to detect though.

Dark brown pour with a small capped head. Aroma is heavily roasted. Mouthfeel is a little thin but the roasted chocolate taste is nice.

Pours a deep deep amber with a quicky dissipating large bubbled wite head. Aroma is sweet, plums, light chocolate and elderberries. Flavor is mostly light malt and a bit tannic. Very thin mouthfeel even for the style. Medium light fruity finish.

Pours a very dark brown, almost black, with a light, beige head. Smells of cracker jacks or caramel corn, light toffee, and dark malts. Maybe some dark fruits in there. The flavor is medium-bodied, with a good dose of that malty cracker jack flavor. Cant say Ive had a beer with this type of flavor before so Im quite intrigued. Definite chocolate and light roast show up too, with a very subtle hop presence. This isnt what I was expecting a mild ale to be like at all, but I must say Im pleasantly surprised. Easy drinking brew, its only 3.4%, and pretty flavorful. I really enjoyed this.

I’ve not had alot of Mild Ales but this was the best of the ones I have had. Would really like to try more. Loved this one!

Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Smells of roasted malt, hints of chocolate, some dark fruit. Tastes of molasses, roasted malt, some hints of fruitiness. Very porter like finish.

Chocolate malt flavor? Umm...no. Not even a little. This stuff poured like ink, black and watery with a medium head. The aroma smells like a Bud, with some hops added in. However, the hops don’t make their presence felt in the taste. The flavor is wheatish with raisens, almost like a raisen margarita, but with water instead of booze. Just water water everywhere. The flavor isn’t the worst I’ve had, but its weak and has no character. I wouldn’t have hated on this so much if they hadn’t have added that "chocolate" nonsense. This tastes like a belgian wheat beer.
