Appearance: Pours out a hazed, pale, dark golden body with a thin, white head. Smell: Notable scent smelling of raw cereal grains with a backdrop of floral, lightly spicy hops. Still though, it’s mostly grains. Taste: Light maltiness with a markedly high grainy overtone and mild sweetness. Faint lemon zest hint. Predominately floral, spicy hops with a light bitterness. Drying finish with cling grainy taste. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Soft overall mouthfeel. Drinkability: I’m find this to be distinctly grainy, like I’m forever munching on some raw malted grains that aren’t really there. Didn’t care for this one.

Bottle: Deep golden beer, quite active, with a thin but firm standing head. The aroma is extremely bready, with a light citrusy nip to it. I drinks with a sweet candy corn essence, and an underlying mustiness. Just a hint of floral flourish in the finish. (#3658, 9/6/2009)

Bottle from Party Source. Poured a clear amber color with a moderate frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium malty and citrus hop aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium balanced bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Smooth drinkable session brew.

7/08/2009: Moorhouse Blond Bitch has a hazed golden color, a frothy beige crown, and a faily low amount of carbonation. The aroma is vaguely like pressed apple cider with hints of oxidized caramlized/brown sugar. The flavor is mildly like a bitter. It has a honey malt sweetness in the middle as well as floral-like tones and a mild bitterness. It is a tad dry on the palate in the finish. This beer has a medium body with a smooth texture and calm mouthfeel. Overall it is quite drinkable.

1 pint 0.9 fl. oz. bottle (Alc by Vol 4.5%) shared by Tmoney99. Thanks Tom! Rating #10 for this beer.

Bottle. Label lists 4.5% ABV. Hazy golden pour. Tall white head that leaves a thick lacing on the glass. Aroma is sweet malts, caramel, Bit O Honey and floral notes. Taste is malty and sweet with more caramel notes, honey, floral hops, light iced tea, dried fruit and bits of toffee. Light earthy hops as well. Body is soft with a medium carbonation. Finishes with more honey, sweet malts, caramel, light toffee and floral hops. Not that bad.

(Sample Date: 2/21/2009 Source:Other) 1/2L Bottle. Light caramel and grain with some honey in the aroma. Mostly clear light orange golden with little white head. Light graininess along with a floral/fruity hop flavor and mild peach like fruitiness. Medium body and mouthfeel. Finish is dry with light hop bitterness.

Bottle to pint glass. Hazy golden color, frothy head that disappeared soon. Very pleasant nose of citrus and floral notes. Light body, light carbonation, nice citrus flavor, a little watery in the end. Probably good on a hot day, otherwise it’s more exciting to smell than drink.
