Cask Handpump at the Crown Inn, Stockport 06/06/2009 Fruit and hop aromas. Small white head. Clear golden coloured hoppy floral and fruity blackcurrant flavour with a crisp and bitter malt finish.

A Mes rate: Cask at The Gatehouse JDW in Highgate. What a fitting drink for our Halloween night little drinking session. Yeasty nose. Slightly cloudy golden amber with some nice thick lacing. Dry dusty hops in the mouth with a tangy bitter finish.

Cask at The Pilgrim’s Progress (JDW), Bedford. Served chilled so virtually no aroma. Some fruit in the taste, otherwise utterly anonymous save for a very late bitter trace.
