Pours a hazy golden/orange with a creamy, off-white head that fades rather quickly to a thick skin. Aroma starts sharp with Fuggles (almost metallic) and warms to muffiny malts. Light strains of vitamins in the nose. Flavor finds a healthy balance between malt and hop within a thick base. Hearty and flavorful with notes of tea and caramel before a finish of bitter yet sour hops. Savory palate, finishing dry. Pour me another.

LIght toffee aroma. Definitely malt. Dark amber color with a white head that mostly disipates. Starts malty, followed by a temporary hint of sour, then rich fruit. Finishes with a dark fruit hoppiness - sorry, gotta tell it like I taste it. I wanted to say it tasted brown. A bit thin on mouthfeel, but overall a nice companion to Black Cat.

Pours an orangish amber with a white head. The aroma is lighly hoppy with some citrus notes and a touch of caramel. The flavor has some maltiness with a light hoppish character. Finishes with a smoothness on the palate.

From a 500 ml. narrow neck brown bottle with a short blurb on the back label, no bottled/freshness date. Made an decent appearance, poured a slightly hazy golden hued orange with a small foamy white head, minimal amount of sticking, medium carbonation. Herbal and sour fruity nose with touchs of grains and a faint butteriness. A malty crisp, smooth medium bodied mouth feel, above average drinkability. Sour fruity and herbal hops, the biiterness is quick and fleeting, buttery in the middle and a dry grainy finish with a little herbalness lingering in the palate. A decent English Pale Ale, but not something I would buy on a regular basis though.
