Pours a nice reddish brown. Aromas of sweet malts/fruit and hops. Flavor is fruity, herby, quite an unusual taste.

Bottled. Sampled at Delirium Café, Göteborg. Amber colour, slight hazy. Roasty, licoricy tone in aroma, nothing else. Flavour is very malty with a caramelly backbone, has an estery fruitiness with tobacco notes. The bitterness must have been well hidden.

Having had this MANY moons before I ever joined this site let alone started rating, this was always one of the ones I thought I’d never find again. However, it wasn’t until Jeppe and Michael brought this up to me at ZBF did I have a chance to try it again (maybe 6 to 8 years after originally sampling it). Would this conjure any good memories??? Bottle. Amber bodied with a small tannish colored head. Nose is malty and lightly floral with some tea notes and light caramel. Almost a hint of tobacco as well. Taste is fruit, caramel, sweet malts, honey, flowery notes and sweetened iced tea. Body has a light overall feel with light carbonation. Finishes with a bigger fruit profile, more tea notes, floral hops, caramel and sweet malts. Was this as good as I remembered it? No. But it was a nice trip down memory lane into my "early years".

Pours a deep amber with some white fizzy head. Nose is very bock like, with lots of caramel malts and some bitter hops. Taste is a lot of caramel malt, very doughy, some wood, and maybe a hint of vanilla. Has a nice fruity hop finish, slightly bitter. Yummy, could also make for a great session brew.

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy pale amber with a rather tall, stable off-white head. Malty aroma with some fruity esters. Very soft mouthfeel, a bit flat. Roasted, malty notes with a wee touch of caramel. Light underlying tartness and a dry, lightly hoppy finish. 211205

Cloudy golden color. Lightly malty aroma and fruitness. Quite good structure, malty, some sweetness, boldly bitter, a bit aromatic, very long final. Interesting.

Beautiful orange colour with a good white head. Aroma was rather weak: some fruit and some sweetness. Taste was unexpectedly gentle: a little caramel at first, followed by malt and a calm, unaggressive hoppiness. You could drink a lot of this.

not a bad beer. pours a little dark but on closer inspection of the label it says this is actually a "pale brown ale". smells very carmely and sweet, but is not sweet tasting, very mild. nice hop bitterness on the sides of the tongue. not a bad session brew.
