Aroma is fruity, with candi sugar, peaches, apricots, peat, hopcit. Very complex, enjoyable aroma that earns a 9/10 from me. The taste is hopcity, fruity, with a finishing metallic twang. Mid palate is great, but it gets real metallic after the uvula. Finishes smooth yet light and uninspiring. The label features a great black silhouette depiction of Laura Bush riding her broomstick. beerandrugby (210), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 7, 2005 (16.9 oz bottle: $3.30 at BevMo in La Jolla, CA) While this medium bodied beer is not overtly flavorful, it is quite delicious. Nutty, malty and sweet nose has a very earthy character to it, and is very enticing. The initial earthy, malty, nutty and fruity flavor is later joined by a modest hop bite in the finish, which keeps the smooth, lightly carbonated palate clean and somewhat crisp, despite the moderate sweetness. Medium golden in color, slightly hazy, with a modest, off-white head that reduces down to a wide rim. Lacing is minimal, but technically present. Not much to look at, but very tasty. heemer77 (4304), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 19, 2005 Slightly cloudy bright orange coloring. A trace of a thin white head. The aroma has a little bit of tangerine with some dark bread. The taste is a mild orange peel with some floral notes. There is also a hint of a nutmeg finish. This is a solid beer that is almost an IPA in the hops profile. Very nice. Aggie80 (708), Michigan, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 6, 2005 Striking orangey hue with an off-white head that dwindled down to a frothy halo leaving some lace. Enticing caramel, nutty, malty and faintly sweet aroma. Flavor is the same and very smooth at that. Very faintly bitter finish. Full feel, creamy. The only drawback to this is that while the flavors are noticeable they are very subtle. You hardly notice that it is there. Very drinkable though.
