Striking orangey hue with an off-white head that dwindled down to a frothy halo leaving some lace. Enticing caramel, nutty, malty and faintly sweet aroma. Flavor is the same and very smooth at that. Very faintly bitter finish. Full feel, creamy. The only drawback to this is that while the flavors are noticeable they are very subtle. You hardly notice that it is there. Very drinkable though.

Small beige head over a hazy reddish brown body, aroma of caramel, some fruit, and earth, flavor rich, smooth , malty and earthy, notes of nuts and caramel, slight bitter hoppy finish, excellent mouthfeel. Eminently drinkable.

Clear amber appearance with a short-lived white head. Malty, brown bread aroma. Medium-bodied with a mild hop bite that materialized near the finish. Taste was a little thin.

Light orange gold color. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is malt, apples, caramel and wood. A medium bodied strong ale. Malts are fruity and sweet, toffee and wood with a hint of earthiness. Hops are citrusy and piney, mildly bitter. Nice balance. Very pleasant beer. Nice malt character is balanced by a nice earthy hop presence. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter

Golden amber with a weak beige head. Malty nose with caramel and notes of fruit and brown sugar. Light bodied, some astringency. The flavor was earthy, caramel, malty sweet. Mediocre beer.

Color’s a sturdy brown, though flooded from behind with crimson shades, and enhanced by a big, bubbling, creamy-tan head, leaving lace behind. Aroma, smooth, creamy, some nutty notes, glimmer of cocoa, hints of butter and spice, mostly malty. Taste: tidy bitter hop notes flank the palate at first, then disappear altogether, and all is mellow, silky smooth. Medium-bodied, at best, with a short, nutty finish. Tasty, though, and quite a quaffer. Easily encompasses the best aspects of the "mild ale" style, a better sort of brown. But not the kind of thing I’d normally reach for, nonetheless...

From a 500 ml bottle - This oe poured an amber fluid with a slight, sweet malty aroma and a tall, fine head. It’s flavor is of sweet malt with a hoppy finish... all in all, a good beer.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy amber with a minimal head that diminishes quickly. Aroma is mild and predominantly malty. Flavor is sweet and biscuity upfront with plentiful hoppiness in a floral, earthy and slightly feta cheesey sort of way with a nice fruity malt aftertaste. Medium body and gentle carbonation.
