Pours deep amber into an English pint. Bright white micro head recedes to skim surface leaving spotted sheets. Biscuit and caramel aromas. Soft and malty upfront turning slightly sour and bitter in the finish.

Sampled with my brother brando for his first beer ever: Poured a gorgeous george golden orange colour, hazey like a smoke filled auditorium. Malty, spicey and wheaty all the way through as far as flavours go. Aroma is wheaty as well, bananna cloves and platanos. Alright. Listening to Bitches brew- Miles Davis

Bottle from Asda, pours a light golden colour with a small white head, not a big one for aroma, leads onto a slightly citrus mouthfeel, very short finish, almost cardboard musky taste, slightly sour...not impressive

Giraffe necked bottle, cloudy, amber Ale with caramel malt and biscuit flavors. I thought this was an ESB, surprised to learn its an English Strong Ale.

Bottle 50cl. @ home.
Clear dark orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted, light hoppy, citrus shell notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a long to average duration, finish is hop bitter witn some hop metalic notes. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is metalic. (170808)

500ml bottle. Clear gold with a decent white head, well carbonated.Thick, sweet malt nose, earthy with a lemon tinge, a hint of spice. Full malt flavor, light citrus bitter, a bit of grain, rather earthy. A nice drinker.

Bottle. Call yourself a strong ale? Orange, brown in appearance. You can really taste the witch. Bit of wood, cardboard and sweaty clothes in the aroma. Which sounds minging but it isn’t that bad. Slight nut, oatmeal and malt in the flavour. Wasn’t bad at all.
