Bottle. I’m not sure why this qualifies as "witches brew" but what the heck. Pours a nice copper/amber color with almost no head to speak of. Aromas are sweet bread and malt. Flavor is more of the same, but also has a bit of a grassy edge to it as well as a soapy texture. Nice and refreshing while being sweet and full.

Pours a pale lageresque golden with a coarse bubbled white head. Aroma is sweet fruit, a bit doughy and cereal. The flavor is mostly sweet malt but a fruit component lingers as well. Nice long sweet finish.

Pours amber with a thin white head. Smells of berries, caramel, some tea. Tastes of dough, some sweet citrus, hints of caramel and toasty. Very earthy finish. Nice!

Pours orangish golden with a mostly receding foamy off-white head. Aroma of pears, cantaloupe, toffee, and earthy malt. Tastes of toffee, bready malt, cookie, brown sugar, pears, and earthy English hops. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle (in New Zealand), poured a clear amber with a large frothy white head. A slightly caramal malty aroma. A good toffeish flavour, some astringency for me in a medium mouthfeel. Got enjoyably smoother as it warmed.

Bottle: Vibrant amber, fairly clear, moderate foamy white head, decent lacing, light carbonation.   Grassy nose, slight notes of apple cider, wet sock, and cardboard.   Interesting.   Barnish malt flavors, low hop profile, minor sweetness.   Pretty damn boring.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Finishes like wet/stale malts, barnish and blech.   Not much of a Strong Ale at 5.1%.   Pretty average, amazingly boring.   No character whatsoever.   Bland bland bland...

This witch brew is dark golden with an OK head. The aroma has nice notes of malt and a lot of fruit. The flavour has a nice and strong bitterness, mostly citrussy, but also notes of other fruits, caramel and a light sweetness.
