Bottle. Amber colour, clear, with a big, rocky head. Fruity nose, hinting towards raisins and nuts. Nutty flavours, sweet in the middle with hints of raisins, ending on a semi-dry note. Medium to full body. A nice surprise.

500 ml. Pours a light clear gold with minimal head and huge lacing. The smell is a bit grainy with undertones of cirtrus. Tart malty taste and a strong dry bitter finish. Mouthfeel is a bit light, but a freshing British beer.

Light red body, white head. Malt aroma, watery palate with a fairly good malt flavour. Not too hoppy however. Meh.

500mL bottle. pale orange color. thin head with big bubbles spaced apart from each other. Aroma of fruit, malt, and of old sweat socks. Flavor is of rich malt although the texture is very light. Dry finish, with a bit of hops. This is a very fun beer. A great find.

Poured from the 1/2L bottle into my pint with a lazy carbonation, rising into a thin but stoic cratered head. Shiny and orange, this draws me in. The aroma is fruity and malty at the same time, evoking that fresh brewery smell that you get during a bottling. The swallow is tart and nearly puckering, with a gristy grainy undertow. It gets dirtier as you go, that woodsy bitter grain aspect taking over. (#2745, 3/14/2007)
