Aroma of fruit, malt, and of old sweat socks. Flavor is of rich malt although the texture is very light. Dry finish, with a bit of hops. This is a very fun beer. A great find. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Mar 14, 2007 Poured from the 1/2L bottle into my pint with a lazy carbonation, rising into a thin but stoic cratered head. Shiny and orange, this draws me in. The aroma is fruity and malty at the same time, evoking that fresh brewery smell that you get during a bottling. The swallow is tart and nearly puckering, with a gristy grainy undertow. It gets dirtier as you go, that woodsy bitter grain aspect taking over. (#2745, 3/14/2007)
