The aroma is very fruity with notes of chocolate, lemon, and spices. The color is a beutiful golden with a fine beige head. The flavor is very roasted, very dry, very flowery - primarily elderflower, and very hoppy. It gives a sting to the tongue while drinking. Quite an interesting beer.

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy pale amber with a rather tall, stable off-white head. Malty aroma with some fruity esters. Very soft mouthfeel, a bit flat. Roasted, malty notes with a wee touch of caramel. Light underlying tartness and a dry, lightly hoppy finish. 211205

Bottled. Deep golden, rich head. Aroma of honey and hay. Sweet and boldly malty with medium body and resiny hops. Dusty resiny bitter finish. Unrefined, but good.

Bottle, 5.1%. Hazy dark amber colour. Stable creamy head, good mouthfeel. The flavour is quite malty and a little yeasty with some fruity sweetness. Quite good for a bottled English ale.
