Moorhouses Witch Hunt

Cask@Akkurat. Goldeny amber colour with mediumsized fluffy off-white head. Aroma is wooden, grassy and also has some mild zesty notes. Flavour is rather zesty along with caramel malts, fruits and some mild grassyness coming in as well.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 16 Oct 2009) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with orange peel, dried apricots and earthy hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of apricots, citrus, grainy malt and slightly earthy hops in the finish. Good bitterness. Slightly thin body, mainly dry. Nice one.

Cask Handpump at the Crown Inn, Stockport 20/12/2008 Malt and hop aromas. Golden coloured and smooth on the palate with a crisp and slightly dry full malt finish.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toaasted, caramel, sweet malt, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090718]

Cask @ Wetherspoons Manchester. Orange blonde. Tangerine and chloride in teh aroma and flavor. Dusty. Earthy hops in the aftertaste.

Cask in the market porter. Alround rating: Standard stronger bitter, sweetich richer malts, grassy peppery hop. Unexciting.
