The thin head is slightly off white. The aroma is carrot cake with some ginger. The taste is iced tea with some old caramel in the finish. There is also a little bit of earthy tobacco, but it comes in to play late in each drink. A nice, fairly light brew. Indra (2036), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 4, 2008 500ml bottle. Softly malty, fruity aroma, with notes of lightly grassy, herbal, citric hop as well as some faint pear, apple and very faintly sweet, pale malt. Medium dusky orange color with an uneven, thin head and spots of lace. Flavor has some lightly doughy, bready, almost grainy, caramel malt sweetness throughout, combined with a touch of earthy, fruity, leafy hop flavor and very mild bitterness. Thin and fairly wet on the palate, which seems to befit the style, paired with a light body. Mild, palatable and quenching. kmweaver (2498), Sebastopol, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Mar 28, 2008 0.5L bottle, purchase relatively fresh from a new store that just opened. Pours a bright light-brown color; light tan head with solid retention and textured lacing. Pleasant aroma showing fruitiness, soft cloves, a bit of tea; very clean, crisp. Medium mouthfeel: lively carbonation; some zesty mineral bitterness at the front, with tea and red fruits and soft, bready malts at the core; excellent, crisp texture in the mouthfeel; I could drink a lot of this. Medium finish: lingering minerals, fruit, and minimal sugar. Just a nicely composed, intensely drinkable beer. FatPhil (3483), Espoo, Finland

Rich brown, small light head. Rich malty and slightly nutty aroma, quite bocky. Soft carbonation, and a nice spicy zing in the mouth. Great hazelnut taste, plenty of rich bocky malts. After being a little disappointed with two other Moosbacher beers, this one is a gem. Not a particularly long finish, but pleasantly malty, nutty, and hoppy. maxwellplum (54), USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 16, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark-brown gradient copper body with a small ring of white head. The aroma is a bit dull and muted but there are a few brief moments when some cookieish sweet malts and light apple shine through. Toasty malts notes with very little hop flavour. There isn’t really much to this. dchmela (1458), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jan 30, 2008 Pours copper colored with very little head. Almost no pop when I releases the swing top, so I assume some air got in there. Aroma is malty, caramel but no sweet. The taste is flat (I knew it!) malty with a sweetness that is not cloying. Might have been better if it had its carbonation. Cletus (5059), Connecticut, USA
