Commercial Description:
Dark golden- brown hue. Pours with a foamy white head. Spicy aromas follow through on a medium-bodied palate with a creamy mouthfeel and dry, toasty finish showing a hint of hop character. An all natural dark beer which is brewed from an old recipe handed down from our ancestors. It’s fine filtered, spiced with the finest of hops and lavish malt. It has a full bodied aroma. Pours with a nice foam-like head.

( 500ml fliptop bottle thanks to travita) Pours clear orange with no head but some oily bubbles. Nose of honey, and corn. Taste is unsweet, crisp light lager-like hops, good linger, but watery body. Very drinkable.

Bottle. Pours light amber and bread crust brown with a small head. Below average carbonation. I have not had too many Kellerbiers in my day, so judge accordingly. This offering was boring. Aroma was faintly bready-malty, and mellow flavors include slight earthiness and soft caramel. I could perhaps detect a trace of cardboard. There is just way too little flavor here -- more "searching" for it than experiencing it -- and this let to a rather boring drink.

Bottle courtesy of travita. Clear apple juice appearance. Buttery nose as per the style. Also with some cidery fruit notes. Aged feeling. Easy first taste with some butter on the finish. Some hints of apple peel make themselves known on the finish.
