Commercial Description:
Dark golden- brown hue. Pours with a foamy white head. Spicy aromas follow through on a medium-bodied palate with a creamy mouthfeel and dry, toasty finish showing a hint of hop character. An all natural dark beer which is brewed from an old recipe handed down from our ancestors. It’s fine filtered, spiced with the finest of hops and lavish malt. It has a full bodied aroma. Pours with a nice foam-like head.

Bottle, 5.2%. Clear grey amber colour. Very small white head. OK dusty flavour. A little citrus note. Papery finish. Good mouthfeel.

Nice malt/yeast combo smell with a ruddy color that comes out with a slightly weak mouthful. The strong syrupy malt similar to a double bach comes through to save the day.

Pours a medium/clear brown with a thin off-white head and decent lacing. Malty and honey taste, with hints of spice, and caramel. Taste is heavier than the appearance would suggest.

Poured a crystal clear darker golden amber with a thin off white head. The head disappeared to just a film. There was a light amount of carbonation bubbles seen rising in the glass. A bit of a nutty aroma. The initial taste showed good carbonation with just a mild bit of a hoppiness and a slightly dry finish

Not sure what was supposed to be going on in this beer. Poured a decent looking amber color with an off-white head. Aroma was a little fruity, but kind of oxidized. Ended up being the second drain pour of the night. Not sure if it was a bad bottle, but i certainly didn’t want to waste my sobriety on it.

Golden-brown colour with a light head. Has a somewhat fruity aroma, lots of caramel with some herbal hop accents. Light herbal hop flavour with a moderate bitterness, combined with a breadcrusty, lightly caramelly malt base. OK, could stand to be more expressive.

Bottle. Clear, chestnut brown with small off-white head. Sweet, nutty, earthy, mushroom aroma. Medium to high carbonation. Lots of sweet malt and roasted nuts in the body, balanced by metallic hop in the finish. Thin and overpriced but drinkable.
