Commercial Description:
Dark golden- brown hue. Pours with a foamy white head. Spicy aromas follow through on a medium-bodied palate with a creamy mouthfeel and dry, toasty finish showing a hint of hop character. An all natural dark beer which is brewed from an old recipe handed down from our ancestors. It’s fine filtered, spiced with the finest of hops and lavish malt. It has a full bodied aroma. Pours with a nice foam-like head.

500 ML bottle-Clear copper color w/a slight tan head. Roasted malt aroma. Thin, watery roasted malt flavor w/some nuts, rye, caramel, & bread dough. Mouthfeel was very thin, tasted like a watered down Alt. This needed some more punch to it & some bitterness on the finish. Don’t know if this is just how these beers are as it’s my first Keller, but I wasn’t impressed.

Reddish copper, thinnish beige head. Toasty, rye-ish slightly vegetal aroma. Clean anc drisp, with a sweet and smoky notes. Maybe some winey or pumpernickel bread notes, as well. Not bad.

Amber with medium slowly diminishing white head. Aroma is very vegetal along with tortilla chips and mild sweet malts. Taste is vegetal as well with some mild sweet malt and light apple mixed in. Finish is dry and astringent with some brunt hop characteristics. My first beer of this type, not really sure what to expect. It’s okay, but I won’t rush out to get another in this category.

I like the flavors a good bit, but it could be fresher and damnit isn’t a Kellerbier unfiltered? Where’s the beef? Kind of flowery, kind of skunky aroma. Malty, a bit of stale toffee and compost heap, a fine dose of flowers and pencil shavings, with a little 9 volt zing, but really where is the complexity, depth and mouthfeel of the best kellerbier? Not in a bottle I suppose, but I must do a tour in Germany, that’s for sure.

Bottle. Pours brown with a beige head. Malty aroma with notes of caramel and grain. Medium body. Flavor is again malty with earthy and caramel notes. Pretty simple but nice.

Bottle 500 ml
Appearance: Clean dark amber with medium frisky top.
Nose : Fresh ,aromatic hops welcome you up front. Some caramel with refreshing clean malts. Little earthy tones at back touch zesty hops in nice way.
Flavor/Palate : Very soft , silky smooth with bit of stickiness. Good malt base , soft water helps as well. Slight roasty hints. Very clean and drinkable with neat zesty hop character.
