| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 25, 2009 Purchased in a swing top, 500 ml. bottle at Lunar Brewing Co. a while back as just Moosbacher Lager, a Munich Helles Lager. E-mailed discrepancy but list didn’t change. Poured to a Czech-Pils glass, a clear golden tone with a modest white, foamy head and clingy patches of lacing. The nose was some yeast and bready malt. The flavor added to the malt light, grassy hop notes and a very small hint of smoke. Good carbonation, crisp and clean mouthfeel, and some nice dryness to the finish. swoopjones (1923), Buffalo, New York, USA
