Got this bottle from Sam’s in Chicago a couple of weeks ago. Poured with a nice foamy, frothy, white head and a little lace. Bright & clear yellow gold color. Aroma is mildly sweet, malty, a bit of hops, beery. Flavor has a lot more going on. Bigger interplay between sweetness and bitterness. Tasty. Good pale German lager body and carbonation. Clean balanced finish leaves me asking for another swallow. Excellent finish. Session beer. tomer (380), Rishon Le Zion, Israel

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 1, 2009 The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts a bit sourish, turns then nicely spicy. Well balanced finish, mild, not vapid. Good beer! CanIHave4Beers (912), Des Moines, Iowa, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 31, 2009 The beer pours with a tight white head with lots of bubbles and a sunny pale yellow color. I like the aroma on this one malty with a nice fresh cut hay and a little yeasty bread. The flavor is simple but nice with plenty of good grainy maltiness, predominantly dry with a moderate noble hop character. Rciesla (3777), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
