Dec 30, 2007 Blah. One of my least liked styles lives up to my expectations. Aroma of biscuits and sugar. Pour was a very light gold-urine like with no head and no bubbles. Taste was sweet biscuits, water and and grass with an almost sugary aftertaste. Very little carbonation.

Dec 24, 2007 Pour is a bright yellow with a small white head, Aroma has some wet grass and biscuit. Flavor is a let down. Very weak amount of malts and almost no hops. Finish is watery and bland.

Nov 30, 2007 This is slightly heaver and more flavorful than American Lagers.There was a bit of a metallic taste, but nothing that was a detraction.

Nov 17, 2007 Caged 500mL bottle. Nice initial outward package impression. Nothing special on the aroma, just plain typical americam lager smells, without the corn. Ever so slight haze in the glass on an otherwise ubiquitous appearing lager. First taste has a mild pilsner bite. Hop is everpresent, but it is not bitter hop. wet hay and yellow grassy uneveness. Much more than the american lagers and it lacks any of the ungentlemanlike characters. Of course there is no industrial adjuct or processed lager attributes. Quite unrefined in a good way. Interesting on the finish, no bad aftertastes at all. Some mild fine pilsner hop bitterness on the finish. Not as enjoyable as Edenton Helles Angel, but exceedingly better than Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold.

Nov 11, 2007 Bottle... Mostly clear, pale yellow lager with a small, wispy, white head. Aroma and flavor are both full of typical, eastern European / Asian-type honey and pepper characteristics. Medium-bodied and sticky with moderate carbonation. Well-balanced finish... what little bitterness there is really comes through at the very end.

Sep 4, 2007 (bottle, thanks Brewfiend) Pours a light gold with white head. Crisp, fruity smell with a little bit of grain. Tasted of grain with just a hint of spice, which I could not identify. Not bad.

Sep 4, 2007 Sweet honey nose on this orange beer. Grainy malt to the flavor and exceptionally refreshing.
