This was a nice helles. Gold color and just a little cloudy, and clear, a great summer beer on a hot day by the barbecque. Moderate hops in the aroma and flavor and malt with grass in the flavor. Crisp, clean finish.

[Bottle, thanks Brewfiend] Pours bubbly golden with a small white head. Aroma is soapy floral and quite sweet. Taste is weak and grainy with a slight chemical finish. Highly carbonated. It was ok.

My swing-top bottle just said ’Lager’ with very little mention of Hell. Which suited me fine, since this was one of the few new beers I could dig up in the Beer Hell of Orlando. Very clear yellow, small white head, good bottle. Grainy, cereal malt aroma. Sweet toasted grain flavor, medium-light bittering. The beer was a bit undercarbonated, which contributed to a muddy/starchy impression for the body. Long, rebounding grain-bitter finish.

Pours a clear gold with a white head. No skunkiness, seems really fresh. Sweet cracker malt. Very light hopping. This isn’t really doing a lot for me. Clean, but not really dry enough to qualify for crisp.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Straw-golden, mid-sized fluffy white head, slowly collapsing; shy sweetish-grainy nose, a bit dusty, too; very faint bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, a bit watery in the sweetish-grainy finish. Yawn......such a boring stuff...............

(50cl bottle, labeled Lager, 5.0%, best by 3/07) Clear straw body with medium white head. Aroma is medium sweet, bread, some caramel, orange, light herbal. Taste is medium sweet, bread, some grassy/herbal, light grain, lager yeast. Light-medium body, light chalk, some crispness.

Swing Top Bottle Pale Lager? Poured a clear golden body with nice size head. Aroma is lemon, grainy malt, and butter popcorn. Flavor is slightly bitter with low carbonation, crisp, smooth and ends with a lemon zest. Can be a tad bit thin but overall I was really impressed with this one.
