Swingtop bottle at Rathskeller, Indy. Poured cloudy yellow color with a huge frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate sour citrus and spice aroma. Light to medium bodywith a watery texture. Light sour citrus flavor with a light sweet finish with a short duration.

Honey, grain aroma, and oddly molasses. Honey and cereal flavor. Sweet. Graham crackers. Great bottle, blah label. Finishes out with some light astringency. Cloudy orange. Big head. Fair, needs a wedge. At Rathskellar, Indianapolis.

500ml swingtop bottle. Best before 0408. Hazy orange hue. Thick finger of white head. Big nose. Lotta orange and cereal wheat. Touch corn and banana. Rather dry and perfumy. Big citrus acidity. Lively yet drying. Acidic bitterness. Tart. Not too quenching. Off-putting finish. Effervescent and estery. I didn’t really care for this one.

500 ml swing top...golden pale color, large white head, banana/wheat aroma...palate is fairly carbonated with a rather watered down feel, taste is fairly bland certainly not like a traditional hefe.

(50cl bottle, best by 3/07) Large frothy white head atop lightly hazed straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, clove, some lemon, faint banana. Taste is mild, medium sweet, bread, light banana. Watery light body.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Slightly hazy, big rocky "dirty" head, visible carbonation; distinctive wheaty/yeasty and citrus-fruity nose, also; almost a bit bitter and tart; moderate sweetish flavour; citrus-fruit, again, in the finish, followed by some faint "hoppy" tartness. A refreshing, well made Weizen...........

(swing top bottle) Hazy, orange colour with a big floamy yellow head. Sweet, slightly wheaty and fruity (ripe orange, banana) aroma with light notes of cloves. Light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Wheat-, and also a bit barley-malty taste with citrus and banana; slim, slightly sweet, minimal acidic finish with only shy notes of cloves, which I appreciate. Drinkable but surely not outstanding.

Great wheaty aroma, banana esters with a bit of light cloves, reminiscent of Paulaner, actually - more spicy than citrusy. Cloudy amber gold with huge white rocky head - huge lacing. Medium watery body with medium-heavy carbonation. Starts dry and spicy with dusty wheat maltiness, more like a wit than a hefeweizen. Not quite peppery, but quite spicy and dry bitter with a bit of banana and cloves at the end. Finish is dry and bitter with mild citrus oil. Chalky dry after.
