Very impressive beer. Its got all the light body and drink ability of a wheat beer but the flavor of a hefeweizen. Also one of the freshest import beers I have ever had.

Bottle from the Binny’s in Plainfield, IL: It poured a hazy deep straw body with a modest head that yet managed to lace the glass nicely. The aroma was light, old bananas, a twist of lemon, and mayhaps some spices. The mouthfeel was oddly thick but watery. The flavor was bready with old bananas and a dash of clove. Okay, but this will never be my go-to hefeweizen.

Bottle. Surprisingly almost clear golden with a medium white head that disappears quickly. Aroma of citrus, clove and some more esters. Sweet and slightly acidic flavor with some bready notes and fruits. Light-medium body. Quite refreshing.

In the flip cap bottle from HyVee CB. Pours cloudy gold with a medium thick head. Has a burned banana peel aroma that is subtle, not strong. Wheaty flavor with a strong lemon taste. Perhaps there’s too much lemon tartnes here. Somewhat acidic. This is not something to write home about.

0.5L bottle, small thick and quickly dissapearing head, hazy lemon yellow colour, white fruit aroma with hint of honey, very strong lemony sourness with some touches of apricot, medium bodied and a very long sour lemon aftertaste. Extremely refreshing.

Orange-honey with huge white head, aroma of a typical weissbier, citron, banana and pinapple, flavor of biscuit malt, orange and some herbs, body is medium, long finish - lemony with some yeast and bitter hopiness. Nice and quafable.

Got this bottle a couple of weeks ago at Sam’s in Chicago. It’s ok; nothing special. Nice little pop when opened. Poured like a traditional hefe weisse. Smelled like a traditional hefe weisse. Tasted like one too. But was a bit sour. Body was decent - mouth filling and good carbonation. Good finish. Session beer.

Bottle from Total Wine. Golden pour, white head. Aroma is full of wheat and yeast with light fruit accents and tons of malt. Flavor is crisp with yeast, wheat and light light hops. Clean and easy but nothing out of this world.
