bottle, cloudy yellow color with a citrus and cardboard nose, flavor is sour corn nuts, this didnt travel well

Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in McKinney, TX. Pours a murky orange/brown with semi-fizzy white head. Aroma is of light lemon. Flavor is a little strange, the best way for me to describe it is a light malt flavor, a little grainy, with some citrus. You have to try hard to get any sign of banana, and that flavor is more of a barely noticeable after thought at the end, even a small bitter at the end.....Mouth feel is light body, kinda watery. Overall, this is an interesting beer, not offensive in anyway and is very drinkable.......just a little odd.....but I actually thought it was decent......kinda hard to rate for me.....

Messy pour. Oops. Opaque amber with a little bit of brown murky yeast floaties. Nose of banana and yeast, clove, sour cherries, orange peel. Very sweet (been a while since I tasted a wheat), with banana and orange validating the nose. Agree that carbonation gave it a good crisp mouthfeel and slightly yeasty finish. Even a pang of bitter. Nice to have a real wheat again.

Sample @ Coles Octoberfest, 2008, Buffalo NY. Pretty average hefe. Lighter bodied. Light golden color, seems to be lacking the creamy murkiness of other hefes. Lots of citrusy lemon, crisp but lacking the banana-cloviness

Purchased on a tri-annual pilgrimage to State Line Liquors in Elkton with ARMed and Rolf C. We were a 3-man economic-stimulus package for the State of Maryland. This beer pours a dark gold/amber with a creamy white head. Aroma has hints of banana and very slight citrus. Above average carbonation. The taste has a balance of banana, with orange-citrus. Very mild tasting hefe overall.

Poured a clear golden yellow with lots of carbonation bubbles in the glass. A tall foamy white head that settles fairly quickly to just a film that left light lacing that ran down the glass to rejoin the beer level. You can hear the bubbles in the head popping. Just a mild aroma of citrus & hops. A good clean crisp taste with good carbonation. A slightly dry very mild citrusy finish.

Clear appearance of a kristal weiss beer. Good carbonation and a very good head. The beer does have a slightly high tartines that is a little too prominant. Otherwise a good weissbeer.

Hazy dark blonde colour with an inch-thick head. Slight apple accent for the base wheaty nose. Strange, like very sweet but overripe apple. Has some rustic charm but is ultimately less effective than other hefes.
