3rd sample from our swill pack macro beer offered at the K-W crapfest of bad beer. This one’s really vacant. Pale yellow, nonexistent head. Aromas of synthetic citus oils and adjunct sweetener. Weak, watery mouth feel, flavor almost identical to the smell - lime flavoing oils override the weak cereal and hop notes , some dextrin sweetness. fast, substanceless, dry...there, I did a lime macro, I don’t have to taste any more...can’t possible see how they’d differ from this swill..

2009-11-27. Pale yellow with a tiny white head. Huge powerful lime aroma, fresh lime juice. 7+ Flavour is quite mild, lime juice is light, touch of sprite like character. Light palate. Meh. Better than expected, but that is not saying much. The aroma is actually quite nice. Bottle shared by GregClow.

[2603-20091127] 341mL bottle. Half concentrated lime, half urinal puck cake aroma. Clear, pale white yellow body with a quick bubbly white head. Sweet lime juice cordial flavour. Light body. Blecch.
Overheard: "I like burning things." -- when asked why the ping pong ball was crushed and lit on fire.

bottle. Poured clear, pale yellow with no head. Weak candied lime aroma. Average carbonation. Watery mouthfeel. Has the mass produced grain flavour with lime overtones. Slightly bitter finish. I guess everyone’s jumping on the lime beer bandwagon.

Bottle from Greg. Thanks! Body is very clear light gold, thin white head. Nose is dominated by lime - but not fresh lime - that pseudo-lime flavor that commercial tortilla chips are sometimes coated with. Aside from the lime the aroma is dominated by soda water twang. Flavor is a bit of lime, some light american pils character - a bit of malt but no hop. The most redeeming characteristic is a nice pils malt that comes out in the finish & lingers before being overtaken by flat lime flavors.

Thanks to the local rep for this sample at a work tasting. A very pale and fizzy yellow. Nose of lime and adjunct, but mostly lime really. Tastes of sweet lime and grains, some grass, but again, mostly lime. Quick and fizy finish.

Wow..my first stab into the world of macro light and lime. The lime is overpowering. I have to work to detect anything that resembles beer. The finish is reminiscent of any corny macro. That being said it is very refreshing and very truly lime. Much closer to key lime pie than to lime pop.
