Commercial Description: This is the kind of beer you want to curl up next to a fire with. It has smooth alcoholic warmth. Munich, caramel & roasted barley combined with an extra long kettle boil provide a malt sweet caramelized flavor. The flavor is balanced by the use of peated malt to provide a slight warm smoky flavor. The three main flavors (alcohol, malt & smoke) are big & bold but have balanced well due to a long conditioning time. This is basically the Winter Warmer from last year but not as hoppy so more true to the scotch ale style.
