Commercial Description:
Awarded the Silver Medal in 2003 in the Bock category, our deep-golden, medium-bodied lager gets its color, body, & sweet malt character from imported Vienna Malt. This beer has a crisper malt presence & more emphasis on hop flavor & aroma than our dark bock beer.

Dark golden aith a light of white head. Heavy malt and alcohol aroma. Malt dominate flavors. Not quite as crips as I like, but still quite good for style.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear medium amber, nice molasses nose. Full, strong sweet flavor, thick but not syrupy. Fresh and bready, with a bit of whiskey and vanilla late.

On tap at the brewpub in Wisconsin Dells, pours a coppery brown brew with an average off-white head that dissolves to a fine lacing. Aroma of caramel, maple syrup, vanilla, and a touch of cotton candy. Taste is full body, lightly carbonated, sweet and a honey sweet aftertaste. Finish is smooth and creamy. Probably the best of all 10 sampled at the brewpub which rendered a growler order. Well done Jamie!

Growler courtesy of Skyview. Dark copper color with a thin head. Aroma of Noble hops and chocolate. Very sweet malt taste with some wheat in the background. Some caramel.

On tap at the brewpub/restaurant in the Wisconsin Dells. Orangish pour with a decent sized white head that sticks around for a while. Sweet bock flavor - some molasses, cotton candy sugary sweetness and a touch of maple syrup. Nice bite to it without being too "alcoholy". Decent thick mouthfeel. Very good brewpub bock.

From Skyview’s growler. One of the better bocks I have had anywhere. Tons of vanilla in the aroma, and sweet malt is a secondary though. A light orange, cloudy appearance. Flavor has caramel, sweet malt, and more vanilla. Thick and heavy on the palate.

Thanks to skyview for sharing. Sweet syrupy nose on this dark brown pour with creamy white head. Vanilla on th nose with a watery wheat body.

Clear pale bronze in color with some white, thin splotches for the head. Aroma is distinguishable from the rest of this brewery’s line-up, accentuated with pine and residual hopping. Creamy palate hit. Chocolate and toffee kick things off. Vanilla extract and maple sweetness, along with some honey thrown into the mix. Christmas tree needles. Warming finish, and one of this brewery’s bests.
