| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 18, 2007 On tap at the brewpub on 6/22/07: Clear amber bronze color has a thin, wispy-lacing off-white head. Sweet grainy caramel malty aroma has some toasty notes. Body starts fairly sweet and has some earthy hop flavor, but needs some more balance and has almost a soapy floral off-flavor. Very light toffee and mild fruit aromas. Flavors of toffee with peaches and cream. Somewhat interesting, but like most ambers unremarkable. An easy quaff. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA

Very sweet: candied apricots, caramel; somewhat syrupy mouthfeel. Good flavors, but overall too sweet and thick. Skyview (4064), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | May 25, 2007 On tap at the brewpub in Wisconsin Dells, pours a clear light brownish amber with a fast dissolving off-white head. Lacing is average. Aroma of toffee, multi-grain bread, some roasted nuts and brown sugar. Taste is creamy, smooth, no carbonation and texture like a scotch ale. Finish is clean with hardly any aftertaste. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA

A pretty good and simple example of an amber, although there really isn’t much here. PorterPounder (3147), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

Light copper pour with a decent sized, off-white head, good lacing. No apparent aroma that I could pick up. Flavor has some traces of caramel, mint, and cotton candy. Mouthfeel is slightly thin. Had much better ambers. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA
