beastiefan2k (1590), Lawrence (formely NYC), Kansas, USA Jun 13, 2009 Sampler @ the brewpub. It has a thick straw color with a thick head and a sticky lacing. Aroma is lightly lemon with a herbal hops, white bread, and some mineral malts. Taste is heavier with a sweet herbal hop finish. Its a good pils but it just doesn’t pop and not vibrant enough in its hoppiness. A pils is something that needs that "crisp" character, which is missing here. Arnie (272), Chicagoland, IL, Illinois, USA Aug 7, 2008 Once upon a time, I liked Pilsners. That time has passed. On tap at the brewery, sampler flight. COlor is mosly a clear coppery gold. Some hops on nose. Very bitter flavor. CaptainCougar (5379), Rockville, Maryland, USA Nov 18, 2007 On tap at the brewpub on 6/22/07: Pours a clear golden bronze with a stringy-lacing white head. Aroma of fairly fresh European hops and some pale malt. Body starts with decent thickness for the style with an earthy piny hop presence to balance the lightly sweet malt. Finishes more bitter and dry. A pretty decent pilsner. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 06/22/2007

Skyview (4007), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA May 25, 2007 On tap at the brewpub in Wisconsin Dells, pours a clear golden amber brew with a slow dissolving white head. Decent retentionand lacing for a pilsner. Aroma of sour apples, a touch of citrus, light malt and some grass hops. Taste is lightly carbonated, piney hops, medium body, and a bitter aftertaste. This brew is more like a premium bitter than a pilsner and quite good. troyc (1173), Lubbock, Texas, USA Aug 7, 2006 (Tap) Pours golden with small white head. Hoppy aroma. Well balanced taste with a slightly dry finish. Refreshing, and pretty tasty. Styles (1653), Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA Jul 25, 2005 Tap: golden with decnt white head. Nice lacing Almost no aroma. A little skunky up front with a decent hop bite in the finish. Decent for a pilsener, just not my style. ElGaucho (1730), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Jul 24, 2005 Some faint sweet fruit notes with a background of hops. Clear gold in color with no visible carbonation. Frothy white head that is mostly lasting. Beautiful lace coats glass. Nice Euro pils flavor with faint hops. Diacetyl notes make it less palatable in quantity.
