Where did this beer come from? I had an unexpected weekend in the Dells (ugh) and stumbled upon this brew-pub. By chance, I ordered the Pilsner, and it was good The beer reminded me of a pale ale, but was not too hoppy for my wife, who won't drink a pale ale. I would definitely drink this beer again.

Clear golden body with healthy off-white head. Aroma is floral and earthy. Taste is exceptionally bitter -- floral and earthy. Medium body.

Golden color with a small off white head. Light orange aroma. Light malt and balanced bitterness. More like a light pale ale. A decent beer, but too sweet and fruity for a pils.

More of a German Pils really. Very blond, not all that much head. Nice bitterness that balances well with golden malts.

(on tap) Ah, another family outing to the Wisconsin Dells brings an opportunity to sample one of the brews at the Moosejaw eatery & brewpub...After enjoying a lot of high specific gravity & heartily hopped beers recently, this brew is a refreshing change for me. The color is medium golden with a hint of cloudiness. The head looked gorgeous when first poured and soon settled down to a laciness that stuck around to the bottom of the glass. I found the taste to be a nicely subtle mix of initial maltiness followed by a gentle but lasting hoppiness. Very nice mouthfeel with decent carbonation, certainly not overdone. Very nice!
