Aroma of fairly fresh European hops and some pale malt. Body starts with decent thickness for the style with an earthy piny hop presence to balance the lightly sweet malt. Finishes more bitter and dry. A pretty decent pilsner. JPDIPSO (4932), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA

Light malt and balanced bitterness. More like a light pale ale. A decent beer, but too sweet and fruity for a pils. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 12, 2004 Sample at the brewpub. Pale yellow with a crisp nose, touch of odd funkiness. Big malt front and very full body don’t dim the crsp, snappy hoppiness. Very punchy and tasty in the end result. Skyview (4090), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 25, 2007 On tap at the brewpub in Wisconsin Dells, pours a clear golden amber brew with a slow dissolving white head. Decent retentionand lacing for a pilsner. Aroma of sour apples, a touch of citrus, light malt and some grass hops. Taste is lightly carbonated, piney hops, medium body, and a bitter aftertaste. This brew is more like a premium bitter than a pilsner and quite good. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
