Skyview (4007), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Dec 16, 2007 On draught at the brewpub in WIsconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Pours a clear dark copper amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that leaves behind a bubbly film top and thin white ring. Aroma of caramel malt with plenty of cinnamon and nutmeg to go around, even a hint of white grape raisin in the background. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of light caramel malt, nutmeg and something reminding me of my grandmother’s homemade raisin mincemeat pie. Finish is slightly dry, holiday spiced nutmeg and a slight mincemeat raisin aftertaste. A pretty decent holiday brew.
