A golden color, with a slightly sweet smell. Tasted like honey. It was simple, but fairly well done.

Dark straw color with a small white head. Dry malt aroma. Light malt and decent flavor hops aroma. A bit thin and watery in feel and a bit fizzy though.

On tap at the brewpub in Wisconsin Dells, pours a clear light amber brew with a fast dissolving white head. No lacing or foam sticking to side of glass. Aroma is light with some multi-grain malt, honey, and some flowery hops. Taste is light body, some citrus, lightly carbonated and a clean finish. Slight honey/nut aftertaste.

Yellow with no carbonation and a thin white head. Honey barely with some grains in the nose. The taste has just a bit more honey but more hops that are citrusy and malts. Again, pretty easily drinkable but nothing too exciting to say here.

Does every Wisconsin brewpub have a honey ale? Clear pale yellow with the thinnest sheet of white for the head. Smells like opening the dishwasher one minute after the rinse cycle has completed, along with a few sweet honey undertones. Indistinguishable, tingly palate sweep. Thin, loose and watery. Lemon detergent acidity. A searing astringency of laundry power takes center stage and manifests most prominently in the aftertaste. Honey is more or less an afterthought.

(Tap) Pours a faint yellow/orange color. No noticeable honey flavor. Watery and flavoring is somewhat off. Still refreshing, but light.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear, light, no head. Very clean, sweet aroma, more than a touch of malt, honey subdued, no hops. Drinkable.

No aroma. Color like white grape juice. Slighly hazy, no carbonation. Thin, but present, layer of white head. Very nice lace. Sweetness of honey evident. Soft, and no bite. Very light.
