SHANER4 (370), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jun 30, 2009 On tap at Moose Jaw in WD - Dark amber pour with medium white head. Great lacing on glass as I drank.
Aroma - floral hops and caramel malt. Really decent aroma from this brew.
Flavor - Alot of caramel malt with very nice balance of hops. I really don’t consider this beer an IPA but taste is excellent.
Palate - creamy mouthfeel and medium bodied. Finish is clean with slight hop bite and no aftertaste.
Overall - WOW!!! I really liked this beer, easy to drink with great fresh taste. First beer from Moosejaw but plan on trying more. Trev (850), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA Jun 21, 2009 On tap @ Buffalo Phil’s (Wisconsin Dells)
Apparently brewed at Moosejaw Pizza and Dells Brewing Co.
Served far too cold!
Dark copper colour with a thin white head that laced very nicely. Aroma was floral and apple fruit hop over caramel maltiness.
Flavour was not as hopped as I had hoped...
Herbal and Floral hop tones over a medium malt body.
msante79 (782), Orland Hills, Illinois, USA May 5, 2009 On tap at brewpub. Pours light orangeish amber with tan head. Aroma is light hops and caramel malt. Flavor is nice balance between hops and malt with some caramel. This is a pale ale and not an IPA. Not a bad pale ale though. Arnie (272), Chicagoland, IL, Illinois, USA Aug 7, 2008 On tap at the brewery, sampler flight. Holds its head the longest. Dark copper in color with an almost non-existent hop nose. Both hoppy and malty at once, not a bad pale ale. CaptainCougar (5379), Rockville, Maryland, USA Nov 18, 2007 On tap at the brewpub on 6/22/07: Clear orange amber color pour has a full wispy lacing off-white head. Aroma of some piny, almost soapy hops with a touch of caramel malt. Body starts with some sugary caramel and earthy, sopay bitter hop balance before a watery finish. Pretty bland overall. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 06/22/2007

Skyview (4007), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA May 25, 2007 On tap at the brewpub in Wisconsin Dells, pours a clear copper brown brew with an average size off white head. Good lacing. Aroma of piney hops, caramel, some citrus peel, toffee, and multi-grain malt. Taste is medium body, lightly carbonated, smooth and a good hop bitter aftertaste. More like an extra pale ale than an IPA. Finish is smooth and a little dry. KingpinIPA (842), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Feb 7, 2007 Dark amber color. Smell of malt, hops, citrus, caramel and grass. Taste of some grass, pine, earth, hops, little citrus, bitterness, caramel, flowers and a touch of honey. Nice IPA.
