| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 1, 2008 Cloudy amber, dark, with a small white head. Very little aroma - a bit of caramel is about it. Flavor is moderately sweet, mildly bitter with caramel, molasses and slightly cardboardy finish. Rather lacking in flavor and richness. badgerben (3600), Blaine, Minnesota, USA

Sweet malt taste with cloves and a bit of coriander. A big improvement at Moosejaw. Skyview (4055), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 25, 2007 On tap at the brewpub in Wisconsin Dells, pours a semi hazy golden amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head. Good lacing though. Aroma of rich wheat, bananas, caramel, a touch of yeast with some grassy hops. Taste is more like a hefeweizen than a Belgian Strong Ale. Medium body with a good balance of yeast, wheat and slightly carbonated. Finish is smooth, creamy and a light banana aftertaste. One of the brewery’s best brews so far. Sweet, with a bit of caramel. Some light fruit and malt. Light overall, and not particularly Belgian. BDR (2161), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
