Mooses Tooth 12th Anniversary Saison

On tap at brewpub on my last year. My notes indicate a pale color with minimal head. Pleasant aromas of light fruits and bread on the nose. Reminds me of a tripel, but with some additional spice components.

[1681-20080906] Tap. Mild grains, mild sweat aroma with some very faint banana. Clear, light brown yellow body with quick foamy white bubbles. A little grainy yeast flavour has some mild and surprising fruity esters? Medium body is smooth. Nice blend.

2008-09-06. Crisp yellow body with a tiny white head. Light flavour of fruit sweet malt with modest pepper accents. (6+) Aroma is modest, fruit esters, yeast touches and mild hints of pepper or spice. (6+) Average palate. Decent, but could be more assertive. On tap at the brewpub.
