Commercial Description:
Don't let the color fool you. With it's smooth body, spicy/piney European hop flavor and dry, slightly roasty finish, this is a refreshing, drinkable summer lager. Through the transitive nightfall of diamonds, directly to your glass.

On tap at the Moose’s Tooth. This is a newer beer from The Moose’s Tooth and a welcome addition. This is a smooth, malty, dry European style beer. Good roasty, bready flavor with a mellow hop taste. Very drinkable especially on warm summer days.

(Draft: Moose’s Tooth Brewing Company in Anchorage AK) Mildly roasty, some caramel, minimally sweet, and the mild bitterness seems to come more from the roast than hops. Lightly roasty nose. Medium body, dry on the palate. Deep, rich mahogany color. Tan head is sizeable on the pour, but fades to a patchy sheen quickly. Decent, probably the best of the five new beers I’ve tried here today.

On draft at the brewpub 7/6/05: Dark, dark brown befitting of the name. Nice roasty aroma. Tangy activity on the palate. Roasty, yet with a fruity/grapey tinge. Good.

Very dark brown clear body. Roasty aroma. Flavor is very roasty with a little charcoal. Very robust, but dry. Not bad. Goes down pretty easily.
