cazort (373), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 7, 2008 (On tap) This was the least impressive and least interesting beer I tried from Morgan Street. It was bland, entirely flat, too sweet, and had an unpleasant sourness to it that is characteristic of many macro brews. I can’t think of anything really good to say about it. I find it a bit sad that this is their most popular brew. I’d prefer many macro light beers to this one, and that says a lot. BlackDonald (1039), North Carolina, USA Jul 31, 2008 Not much going on with this one, and overall am not really impressed with this brewery. Lightly hoppy aroma with a bit of honey sweetness, some spice. Extremely light bodied, with a little too much carbonation. No finish at all. BeerandBlues2 (2514), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Jul 21, 2008 Draught at Morgan St. Pours clear yellow with a small, fizzy, white head, somewhat diminishing with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (hay, straw), light hops (flowers), average yeast (dough, sweat) with notes of banana and honey. Light bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and an astringent finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness. rederic (1444), montréal, Quebec, Canada Apr 17, 2008 On tap at the brewery, slightly hazy honey gold hue, with a white head, sweet honeyed wheat malt nose, with a light grapefruit, lemon fruity note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with an awful wet wheaty, grainy, sulfuric, boiled vegetables, with a subtle honeyed pale malt, a mild flowery hop, leafy accent, with some lemon, citrus acidic notes, leading towards a fruity citrusy finish Dogbrick (2266), Columbus, Ohio, USA Mar 2, 2008 Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a clear golden color with a thin white head that diminishes steadily. Spotty lacing. Mild wheat and honey aroma. Light-bodied and mild with wheat, honey and subtle hops flavor. The finish is bubbly and lightly hoppy but short-lived. Overall this is not worth revisiting.
