Commercial Description:
A Morgan Street Seasonal served in May; this is a pale version of the classic Bock beer. Sweet, malty flavors dominate this extra-strong lager.

Poured an orangish/brown color with a small white head that evaporated quickly leaving no lacing. Caramel and spice dominated the aroma and the flavor followed suit. A clean finish to boot. The most "session style" beer they had at this place. Not bad.

Draft at the St Louis Microfest. A golden orange beer. Smooth drinker with a bit of alcohol tone, although too much. Pretty mellow. Not much too it, really.

this is quite possibly the worst mai bock ever created by the hands of men. honey and sour strawberry with an ethanol nose. taste is raw grains rotted fruit and the anguished screams of good beer lovers everywhere. horseshit, this is bad. leaves a dry hollow taste with a bit of disappointment. GGGGRRR!!!!

Sampled on tap at Morgan Street. This maibock pours clear copper with a small tan head and very intricate lacing. Aroma is very clean, but otherwise non-existant. The flavor is dominated by rich malts, including caramel & toast. Well-balanced with a clean finish. Medium-bodied, moderately carbonated and smooth. I could have drank these all night.
