Bottle. At Chris_O’s September 2008 DenCan bash. I lose track a lot, but I think Ian brought this one? Thanks! Best before 20.06.2027. Very cloudy light orange pour, large diminishing white head. Classic gueuze, mid-level funk and sourness and an almost lemon pastile sweetness to the malt. The taste follows, very thick and sweet, but solid lemon acidity evens it out - thick, acidic, but had a bit of a weak finish. Not amazing, but incredible drinkable.

Bottle at Shorts tasting with The Club and a few more. Pours a slightly hazy light amber with a tiny white head. Medium sour. Tart. Some funghi aromas. Also some vinegar. Dry sour finish. Kinda one-dimensional.

Second rating. 1991 vintage.
[Bottle @ Odense Tasting, 14th February 2009]
Pours golden with a slight coppery edge to it. No real head to speak of. Tart citrussy aroma with some caramel backgraound, really pleasant. Soft, low carbonation, lovely creaminess. Flavour is very tart, some apples, some citric bite, some dry brett - generally just very dry. Really lovely.

Bottle @ Chris o’s Pre-Beer Exposed Tasting, September 2008.
[thank you, harrisoni, for bringing this from Belgium]
Pours hazy, pale golden with a tiny, frothy, white head. Aroma has oranges, fine tartness, green apples and grapefruit. Very nice mouthfeel. Flavour is nicely tart, good apples, barnyard and a very nice dryness in the finish.

Bottle at the weekend of spontaneous fermentation 2008: Dark gold with orange center. Thin ring of a head. Dark, wet hay on top of some malt. light barnyard and musty, moldy wood. Touch of old dried grapefruit peel. Flavor is a bit "spicy" for a Lambic. Tea leaves an some sort of dried brown spice that I can’t get my finger on. Almost seems too fresh. Aroma is great but flavors seem to not be unified, and are very simple. Tea under a horse-blanket.

2003 bottle, pours with a large head that eventually subsides to a centimeter large surface covering foam. The body is yellowish golden. Aroma is lemon-y barnyard horse blanket. Taste is very tame for a lambic; light sour with lots of horse blanket. It finishes with a carpet-fuzzy dryness. Fine stuff but really doesn’t try to take any leaps, just plays it real simple. Too much simple Boon stuff in here.

Bottle@SpontaneousWeekend08. Waterkres, oak and leather aroma. Hazy, dark yellow color, irregular beige head, fair lace. Sweet, bitter, barnyard, little sourness. Great aroma but disappointing flavors.

Bottle at Bager’s place - thanks. Clear golden/amber - white head. Light barnyard, wood, oaked, light sourish, light sweetness, earthy, mould. Very pleasant.
