Bottled. Dense dark red coloured with a small pinkish head. A bit too sweet - still - it’s pretty well balanced. Notes of cherry and grapes.

Sweet fruit nose, dark ruddy auburn color, fluffy head. Cherry juice tastes with a little sourness. Quick and refreshing, fruity mostly. Could have more sour.

Thanks Jacob and Dixen! Nice dense red almost purple color with a small pink head on top. Nice and very intense sour cherry nose. Kinda water cherry peel taste, dark grapes too. Not too exciting but also nicely unsweet - Nice.

75 cl bottle, no label, just a pinkish red stripe. This beer is not allowed to be sold by EU-rules. F*** the rules! Pinkish red color, no head. Bought in Café Moriau in St Pieters Leeuw. The landlady said it was the very last kriek her brother made himself. Must be 5 years old or so. Amazing aroma. Cherry, cherry pits, almonds, ash. No carbon whatsoever. Quietly sweet cherry flavor. Wood, ash, bitter almonds, fresh cheese. Short aftertaste with sherry, bitter almonds and cherry wine. Absolutely amazing beer. has aged well and has developed like an old sherry. Thin, but complex and full of character. I will return to St Pieters Leeuw for more if i ever get the chance. 2 points extra for breaking EU-rules. 38 cl bottle, about 7 years old. Strawberry and raspberry in the aroma mixed with the obvious cherries, just a bit perfumed. Perfumed somewhat faded kriek flavor with notes of rosewater and vanilla. Limited sourness, marmalade-like cherry fruit. Cherry pits. Aspartame sweetness, marzipan. Just a bit thin. Loved it.

Leafy, woody aroma with mild acidity. Opaque pinkish-brown body is topped by low pink-tinged head that recedes to ring. Mild acidity to the sour cherry flavour with some woody notes. Medium-light body is somewhat astringent with low carbonation. Bottle sampled at RBESG 2005.

Bottled. RBESG -05. Red-brown. Almondy nose and cherry stone. Overripe cherries most prominent in flavour. Immensely dry kriek. Still, easy drinking and very yummy.

Bottle @ RBESG2005. Loads of cherry in the nose, marizpan, good tartness. Hazy red body, small pinkish head. Flavor of sweet cherries and some tartness.
