Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 18, 2007 Bottled. A golden beer (very dark for a Radler) with a huge off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of lemon and malt. The flavor is very sweet with primary notes of lemon, but also a light malty note, leading to a very refreshing and slightly bitter finish. The body is ofcourse weak. Very good for the style. Quack-Duck (1906), Bodensee, Germany Jul 20, 2007 bottle, thanks to pivnizub. Looks quite good. Flavours of lemonade dominate, but there’s a distinct beery flavour in the background as well. Not bad for a Radler. Papsoe (10532), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 1, 2007 (Bottle 50 cl) Clear, pale golden with a tall, white head leaving a fine lacework. Fresh aroma of lemons. Light and watery with lightly sweet lemon accents. Has a discreet bitterness in the finish. 300607 pivnizub (3899), Porúří, Germany Jan 28, 2006 Swing-top bottle: clear, pale golden coloured, thin, stable white head, sticking to the glass; strong citrusy nose with a very faint bitter tinge; sweetish citrusy flavour, a bit sourish; sweet-sour fruity finish with a tinge of bitterness coming quite late. Not really bad, not too sweet, but refreshing........ bierkoning (4935), La Tropica, Netherlands Dec 29, 2004 Artificial lemon and cheap sweets aroma. Sweet lemon flavor with some distant bitterness, more grapefruit-like as hopbitter, especially in the aftertaste. Not the worst Radler on the market.
