It initially pourt like a light Guinness. When the cascading bubbles have finished you are left with a dark golden beer with a thick white head. It smells a bit malty with some citrus mixed in. The taste is just kind of sweet with a hint of bitterness around the edges. The beer is very thick in the mouth and has a bit of a creamy aftertaste.

Aug 16, 2008 (Bottle). Sourish hoppy aroma. A pretty color, reddish amber with a moderate off-white head. Unpleasant cardboard taste, with unpleasant skunky aftertaste. Not a good experience, possibly a sample impaired by clear bottle.

Aug 14, 2008 Medium brown appearance. The aroma of this beer is very pleasant; it’s a little hoppy, and a little wheaty. As for the flavor, it starts out with a very strong malt flavor, but later, the hops become the most evident. The palate is very smooth. This was a beer I knew little about, and I ended up liking it a lot!

Aug 11, 2008 Pint can. Pours a clear dark gold with one finger fine white head. Nose is nuts, sweet malts and faint hops. Taste is malt, light citrus and metal. Went flat quickly – boring beer. Watery mouth feel. Not very good.

Aug 7, 2008 Clear bottle. Pinkish brown color without much of a head. Nice aroma and mouthfeel. Flavor seemed a bit unfresh but it was pleasant to drink. I’d have another.
