Cloudy light brown with an orange hue...minimal foam...split second aroma of over-cooked broccoli or spinach...also caramel and fruit...thin body...watery flavor.."malt flavored h2o"....balanced well a bit of hops in the finish...damn good thing a whole 6 pack wasn’t purchased

This looked very good in the bottle, an orange hue very similar to Sam Smith Palle Ale, I was excited. But....this beer has a very noticeable pepper flavor that I couldn’t get out of my mouth. It was a drainpour the first time I had it. The others in the six pack had to wait a week before I picked one up. Eventually I could ignore the pepper and there is some English malt flavor in there, but I won’t be buying this again.

Very nice copper color, smooth and sweet with a nice mouth feel. I tried this after enjoying an "Old Speckled Hen". This one is just as good.

12 oz. bottle at home...smooth, clean, easily drinkable in mass quantities. Recalls the feel of sitting in London pubs a few years back, although this beer holds little memorable in taste. Light, thin average body that produces a nondescript light thin average taste. A serviceable brew that I’d serve friends by the case...

Bottle at Old Chicago - Okemos, MI. Poured cleat copper color with a large frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate tart bitter citrus aroma. Medium body. Medium balanced flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable brew.

Golden leather color with white head. Aroma is strongly skunky and dry. Flavor is unexpectedly malty. $2/12oz

bottle. Pours golden with strong white head. visible carbonation. Nose is alcoholic which is odd for 4.4%. Smooth and flat, but pretty thick and full. great mouthfeel. flavor is full and malty. drinkable, not as good as old speckled hen but not bad in its own right
