poured amber orange from a bottle. think head formed with nice lacing. somewhat sweet caramel taste that turns bitter after i swallow. Not bad but far from the best ale i’ve ever had.

Little hops but they oddly claim opposite on label. Watery roasted malt and faint mineral taste.

bottle. darker golden with nice white head. nice lacing. you know the aroma is somewhat nostalgic for me. huge malts, musky, floral aroma. burnt malts, caramel, slightly assulting bitterness. very thin. nutty and malty. this beer is kind of wack but i like it. not enough to buy it again but there is something about it. Goolet

Bottle... NTB Ernesto Festo ’06... Hazy orange ale with a small, frothy, white head. The aroma is a swirl of honey, toffee, fruity esters, leather and earthy hops. Flavor is caramel and toffee followed by herbal bitterness. Medium-bodied and fizzy. Crisp finish.

A very weak entry in the style...way too caramely sweet, almost sticky. And yet virtually no hop bitterness. The palate is extremely thin and watery. I would not repeat this one.

Bottled. Amber bronze, good lasting white head and fine condition. Pleasantly resinous hop flowers in the nose, some caramel notes in the mouth but dominated by raw peppery hops that linger into the finish to be briefly tempered by a slight maltiness.

Bottle: Shiny orange, almost red, with a 50% big foamy head. Stark, almost vinegary nose, sweet and perfumey. The body is awfully light and the flavor is musty and sugary. Didn’t dig it.

Bottled. Amber cololured. Clear. Off white huge head. Sweet, metallic and light herbal nose. Flavour of herbs, light chocolate and fruit. Is medium bodied. Is light bitter in the end. Flavours and aroma is quite bland.
